I expect everyone has one. One horse that they own or know that is special.
A horse that does everything it possibly can just to try and make you proud.
A horse that you feel would rather die trying than to disapoint you.
You know the type.This is the first of a series of celebrations of these amazing creatures.

Meet Barney,

Barney literally leapt into our hearts at the Wheatley Horse Show 2005.
One if not two hands smaller than the eventual winner, Barney and rider Elice drove the competition
unknown heights ( at the Wheatley Show at least!)Fighting to the bitter end.
Screwing up all his courage he attempt almost to leap his own height!
Although keen to try again, sensibly barney settled for second place as Pirate lept cleanly to victory.

For his rider Barney was a fairy tail horse, however that fairytail was soon to become a living Nightmare
as Barney was Diagnosed with Cancer and subsequently was put to sleep.

Since 2005 our Puissance in the Main ring has been dedicated to Barney - Our little star.
