GENERAL RULES & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. No claims will be entertained for anything which may happen to Competitors, their servants, onlookers, horses, vehicles or property in connection with or arising from the Show and it shall be a condition of entry that each entrant shall indemnify the Organisers of the Show and the owners of the property, against any legal action arising from any mishap.

2. In all events the Judges decision is final.

3. Any objection must be made in writing with a deposit of £25.00 (returnable if objection is upheld), within 15 minutes of completion of a class, and handed to the show secretary.

4. Correct dress must be worn in the Arenas and PAS015, BSEN1384, ASTMF1163 hats with fastened chinstraps must be worn by any person riding in and around the Showground.

5. The Organisers reserve the right to combine, amend or cancel classes as they think fit, and withhold prizes in the event of insufficient entries.

6. Your age is as on the day of the show. A birth certificate may be asked for.

7. No horses or ponies under 4 yrs of age to be ridden on the show ground.

8. No moneys will be refunded for competitors unable to compete due to classes running consecutively. Moneys may be transferred to other classes. No entry fee will be refunded, except on production of a medical or veterinary certificate within 7 days, less £2.00 administration fee.

9. The Judges reserve the right to disqualify any Rider, Horse or Pony found to be entered in an event for which they are not eligible, or to eliminate any unsound or unfit horse/pony from the competition.

10. Any person seen ill-treating a Horse, Pony, Parent or Dog will be asked to leave.

11. All Trophies are the property of The Wheatley Horse Show and winners must sign receipt of safe custody and pay a deposit of £15 per trophy. Trophies must be returned CLEANED and in GOOD CONDITION by May 1st. 2011. No trophies returned at the Show. No deposit = No trophy.

12. A compulsory fee of £3.00 per competitor will be paid for First Aid Cover. No competitor will be allowed to take part in the Show if this fee has not been paid..

13. Combinations who have qualified for HOYS, Royal International Horse Show, Olympia and similar competitions or compete/produce professionally and/or at County level are not eligible for Wheatley Horse Show.
This show is aimed at keen and competitive amateurs, not professionals. Please contact the organisers if you wish to compete HC in Showing or showjumping classes

14. Horses can easily be frightened and can be dangerous. Members of the public are requested to keep clear from horse areas/lanes and to avoid behaviour which might alarm horses.

15. All dogs to be kept on leads and young children to be kept under close control of an adult please.
